With only about six weeks or so to go of the current 2016/17 football season, there is plenty of transfer talk going on as we speak. Many clubs across Europe are already 'provisionally planning' on how they are going to strengthen and develop their squads and infrastructure ahead of next season, despite the fact that many clubs are unsure in what division of their respective leagues they will be playing in at the start of the 2017/18 season. Some clubs may have to wait until the final game of the season before they know their fate, whilst others will have to go through the nerve-racking play-off scenario at the end of May before they can truly plan for next season.
