Babe of the Month - From Glamour Puss to Sports Broadcaster!

Amy Christophers was born on 6th October 1986 in Truro, Cornwall, England and is currently on a quest to move from top glamour model to top sports presenter. She is also a huge Chelsea FC fan.

Amy decided to quit modelling in 2014, at the height of her career, to follow her real passion and move into sports media.

'Thatsportsspice' her instagram profile and twitter name, Amy is aiming to become one of the best sports broadcasters in the country. She already has a spot on 'talkSPORT' (right) on a Wednesday night/Thursday morning with Adam Catterall and is a Columnist for 'The Sun' newspaper. This year Amy also won the FBA’s (Football Blogging Awards) for Best Football Influencer for 2018.

She has also worked on football podcasts and has appeared on the show 'ontheleftside,' where the presenters take a satirical look at the game of football.

It has not been all plain sailing though, as earlier this year Amy found herself caught up in unwanted headlines, when she was pictured among a group of women leaving the PFA awards with chief executive Gordon Taylor, to continue drinking elsewhere.

That highlighted the barriers the ambitious 31 year-old is having to break down in the face of other people who say she has no right to work in sports media and/or sports broadcasting.

However in three years Amy has completed her journalism studies at Cornwall College, qualified to become a Football Association referee and is now broadening her knowledge further, as she sets her sights on trailblazing a path for women to make an impact in a notoriously male dominated arena.

However Amy has stated becoming a qualified referee was part of the process of gaining more knowledge and proving her expertise, not because she wanted to be a referee! She then went on to do her journalism qualification to again enhance her knowledge of the game and the world of sports media.

Amy has also gone on to present shows on the Sky platform (below) and says after she finished modelling she knew she had to be a bit more conservative in the way she presented myself:

"I dyed my hair brown for a bit and kept a low profile because I had to shake off that image. I think I have proven myself now, I know my stuff and in the sports world and I feel I am starting to be respected - although I still have a long way to go before I hit all my goals."

Sports media is notoriously difficult to get into, and even more so for women, but Amy is determined  to break the mould!

Former Glamour model and Chelsea fan 

Amy was one of the biggest glamour models in Britain, working under the name of Brandy Brewer (a stage name that came from a combination of the name of her first pet and her mother's maiden name).

In her ten-years career working as model Brandy Brewer she was a regular on the pages of magazines such as Loaded, FHM and Nuts, but sport has always been her passion.

In 2008 she won 'Loaded' magazine's 'Rear of the Year' which really shot her to fame with the lad mags! In 2009 she won 'Miss UK Football Finder' and reached the semi-finals of 'Miss Great Britain,' and in 2010 Amy won 'Nuts Boardmasters Bikini' competition.
Amy went on to become a page 3 girl for 'The Sun' and the 'Daily Star' newspapers.

Under the name of Brandy, she also became a reality TV star appearing in hit show 'TOWIE' and Series 2 of 'The Bachelor' -  the UK version with Spencer Matthews.

Amy is currently freelance but working with major media brands including newly formed 'Sport Convo' a new social media network owned by Gareth Bale and Indian cricket hero Virat Kholi. The company headhunted Amy, stating they knew that she was their girl! Amy rocks up to football stadiums in the branded sports convo Ferrari and invites fans into the passengers hot seat to be interviewed, she also interviews sports stars and films a weekly sports round up. Amy had to learn some Hindi to film certain videos for their Indian cricket audience.

Hosting a radio show and writing a weekly column are her long-term goals and on this Amy said "Basically I want to be presenting a main show and doing a radio show, that's my ultimate ambition"........and she is without a doubt well on her way to achieving her goals!

Babe of the Month - Lisa Zimouche, Champion Freestyle Football Sensation!

Lisa Zimouche was born 29th June 1999 in Paris, France and is a professional freestyle footballer.

The French athlete has been passionate about football since her childhood days. Lisa started playing for her local junior clubs at the age of seven. By the time she turned 10 years old she was already renowned for her amazing soccer and freestyle skills.

She joined the Paris Saint Germain women's youth football team, but left at the age of 14 as she preferred freestyling, and wanted to develop her skills further on the streets.

When she was 13 years old, she was a part of Red Bull Street Style World Final 2012 and in the year 2014, she was named the "World Female Panna Champion." The term 'Panna' originated in the Netherlands and doubles as slang for 'gate' or 'being megged' which really just means simply putting the ball between your opponents legs.

Now 18, Lisa is touring the world showcasing her talents in front of iconic landmarks in major cites like Paris, London and Los Angeles.

As of now, she is a full-time freestyle soccer player. She is also famous for performing in Street Style Society.

The profile of Lisa Zimouche is still missing in the Wikipedia, a non-profit online encyclopedia. But, the athlete is active on social networking sites like Facebook, Instagram and so on. She joined YouTube on 2nd June 2016, and since then her videos have been watched more than 2.1 million times.

Zimouche is generating the huge amount of money from her professional freestyle football career, and also from her social networking sites.
Her salary, allowances and other incentives have not been disclosed to the public, but it is estimated that her net worth is upwards of a million US dollars.


Lisa is now living her dream life as she’s touring all over the world. She has shown her talent and skills in different countries around the world including France, England and the United States.

German sportswear brand Puma had recently announced the release of the street inspired football trainer, the 365 Ignite Netfit accompanied with a release party and a football tournament in the heart of Paris. But that wasn’t all for Puma, they also appointed Lisa Zimouche as one of their football ambassadors at just 18 years old.

Puma has long cultivated a reputation for being different. For embracing the strengths and eccentricities of the individuals who relate to the brand and empowering those individuals to take the world by storm.

Lisa said: "I’m a street player and I mix street soccer and my lifestyle and for me, Puma is the best to do it with. They are doing good work with me. Babe of the Month - Danish Ladies Footballer Pernille Harder

Pernille Mosegaard Harder was born 15th November 1992 in Ikast, Denmark and is a Danish professional footballer who plays as a striker for VfL Wolfsburg as well as for the Danish national team.

Pernille started playing football when she was five or years old with the boys in her birth city of Ikast. Her Mum and Dad and sister both played so they sent her to play soccer and she really loved it. Pernille says that "they didn't have a girls team until she was 11 years old, but I played and practised with boys in high school and that was a really important part of my development."

Pernille has always been a Manchester United fan, and says that David Beckham was her footballing inspiration.

Harder played for Team Viborg between 2007 and 2010 and then for IK Skovbakken from 2010 in her country's Elitedivisionen, before signing for Linköpings in June 2012.

She made her international debut aged 16 in 2009, scoring a hat-trick in Denmark's 15-0 win over Georgia.

Harder chose Linköpings, another Swedish club for her next destination because she wanted a new challenge, but also because she wanted to remain in Scandinavia. In September 2013 she scored all four goals in Linköpings' 4–1 win at relegation-bound Sunnanå SK.

In the 2015 Damallsvenskan season Harder scored 17 goals in 22 appearances for Linköping, winning a series of national awards including Årets Anfallare (English: Forward of the Year) and Årets Allsvenska Spelare (English: League Player of the Year). At the annual awards gala she shared the stage with male winner Zlatan Ibrahimović (below) and was described as "hyper-talented" and "world class" by Swedish national coach Pia Sundhage. Harder was also voted Danish Football Player of the Year in 2015.

Harder enjoyed further success in the 2016 Damallsvenskan season, retaining the League Player of the Year award and helping Linköping win the Damallsvenskan title.

By now a transfer target for the biggest clubs in women's football, it would have been easy for Harder to stay in Sweden. She had scored 70 goals in 87 appearances for Linköpings, twice winning the Swedish cup and winning the league in 2016 as top scorer with 24 goals in 22 games.

 

However Harder's agent announced in November 2016 that she would be leaving Linköping for a new challenge. In December 2016, it was announced that Harder had signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with VfL Wolfsburg running from January 2017.

The lure of the Bundesliga was too strong. Pernille said: “I always wanted to go to Germany one day. I guess it’s because the German league is the strongest league in Europe and possibly the world. All the games are hard. We’re one of the best teams in the world right now, with a lot of good players, and that’s why I always wanted to come here."

"It’s a little more physical, all teams are fit and physically strong. The way teams defend in the Bundesliga compared to Swedish league is very different. In Sweden we’re standing in zones and defending the space behind us. In Germany it’s go forward and go 100%. It’s very different for me when I have the ball and it’s given me a new way of thinking and has developed my game."

In her first season in Germany Wolfsburg pipped the holders, Bayern Munich, to the Bundesliga crown as the team secured the league and cup double.

Last Sunday Wolfsburg Ladies beat Chelsea Ladies 2-0 in their Women's Champions League semi-final second leg to win 5-1 on aggregate and reach the final, where they will face Lyon at the Valeriy Lobanovskiy Dynamo Stadium in Kiev on 24th May. Harder scored the opening goal in Wolfsburg's 2-0 win.

This season, with her team two points clear of second-placed Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga Women's League, with the German Cup Final (DFB-Pokal) on the 19th May, Harder and her team-mates are targeting the treble!

On her International career: At the inaugural 2008 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in New Zealand, Harder was part of the Denmark team who won their group before losing 4–0 to eventual champions North Korea in the quarter-final. Still 16 years old, she contributed a hat-trick to a crushing 15–0 win over Georgia in her senior international debut in October 2009, and she has continued to score regularly for the Danish team ever since.

Harder scored further hat-tricks against Austria and Armenia in 2011 and Russia in 2013. She was named in national coach Kenneth Heiner-Møller's Denmark squad for UEFA Women's Euro 2013. With nine goals she had been the team's top goalscorer in qualifying.

In October 2013, Harder won her 50th cap for Denmark in a 1–1 draw with Serbia. She scored Denmark's goal in the match. In March 2016, Harder was appointed captain of the national team.

In 2017, she was named in national coach Nils Nielsen's Denmark squad for the UEFA Women's Euro 2017. She captained the team to the final and scored a goal in Denmark's 4–2 defeat by hosts the Netherlands. She was voted runner-up to Lieke Martens in the UEFA Women's Player of the Year Award for 2016–17.

Pernille Harder is one of the five nominees for the BBC Women's Footballer of the Year 2018 award.
On being nominated she said: "It's an honour. A nomination like this is one of the things you work really hard for your whole career, so I'm really happy to be nominated and 2017 was a really good year for me."

Babe of the Month - Spanish Golf Belle Belén Mozo

Belén Mozo was born 25th September 1988 in Cadiz, Spain, and is a Spanish professional golfer who plays on the LPGA Tour and the Ladies European Tour.

Belén was born on September 25, 1988, in Cadiz, Spain. She is the daughter of Jesus Mozo and Isabel Mozo and has one sibling as Jesús Mozo. She is the residence of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, US. Belen completed her schooling from the Institute Ortega y Gasset. Her aspiration to become a professional golfer arises when she started playing golf at the age of eight. She gives credit to her mother who influences her to pursue her dreams.
She enjoys going to the beach, reading books and playing tennis and says that she is pretty laid back. At the age of 14, she moved to Madrid to go to school and pursue her interest in golf.

Mozo enjoyed a successful amateur career, and in 2006 she won both the 'British Ladies Amateur Championship' at the Royal County Down Golf Club, Northern Ireland and the 'British Girls' Amateur Championship' in Portstewart, County Londonderry, Northern Ireland, becoming the first woman to win both titles in the same year since 1972. That same year Belén also represented Spain at the 2006 World Amateur Team Championships.

Also in 2006 Belén won 'The International European Ladies Amateur Championship,' which is an annual amateur golf tournament. It is organized by the European Golf Association and was first played in 1986. It is one of the "elite" tournaments in the World Amateur Golf Ranking.

Belén earned a scholarship to play golf for University of Southern California and later that year she joined the USC Trojans golf team. She went on to become a four-time NCAA/All-American. Whilst at the University of Southern California she majored in international relations and after four years of collegiate golf, she turned professional, and qualified to join the LPGA Tour on her first attempt as a rookie in the 2011 season. Mozo earned more than $90,000 in her rookie season.

Belén Mozo was featured in ESPN The Magazine’s 2011 Body Issue. She credits her parents and family life growing up for her athletic body. Mozo’s parents established her nutrition and diet plans early on, allowing soda only once a week and never bringing candy into their house. She always stays active, running, playing basketball and riding horses.

Babe of the Month - New Grand Slam Winner Caroline Wozniacki

Caroline Wozniacki was born on 11th July 1990 in Odense, Denmark and was the daughter of Polish immigrants, Piotr Woźniacki and Anna Woźniacka. Caroline is a professional tennis player, who to date has won over $29 million dollars in prize money. She currently resides in Miami, Florida.


























She is the current World No.1 on the WTA Tour, having previously held this position for 67 weeks between October 2010 and January 2012.

Caroline turned professional in July 2005 and has won 28 WTA singles titles in her career, including six in 2010 and 2011. She was runner-up at the 2009 and 2014 US Opens but only won her first Grand Slam title last Saturday (27th January) at the 2018 Australian Open and returned to the World No. 1 ranking on 29th January 2018 as a result.

At the Australian Open in Melbourne, Wozniacki was seeded second, her highest seeding since the 2012 Australian Open. She defeated Mihaela Buzărnescu in straight sets before going on to beat Jana Fett in three sets after being down 1–5 in the third set and saving two match points. She then beat Kiki Bertens and Magdaléna Rybáriková both in straight sets to reach the quarter-finals. In the quarter-finals, she beat Carla Suárez Navarro in three sets to advance to her second semi-final since 2011. In the semi-finals she beat Elise Mertens to advance to her third Grand Slam final and her first since 2014. In the final she defeated top seed and world No.1 Simona Halep of Romania in three sets, to become the ninth woman to win the title after being match point down. After winning her first grand slam title, she has subsequently regained the world No.1 ranking again.

Caroline's best friend is her fellow Danish tennis player Malou Ejdesgaard, who has been her doubles partner in five tournaments. Wozniacki is also close friends with Serena Williams, Agnieszka Radwańska and Angelique Kerber. She speaks Danish, English and Polish fluently and knows Russian.

A fan of English Premier League team Liverpool, she wore a Liverpool shirt signed by footballer Steven Gerrard on court in the 2011 Qatar Ladies Open.

In 2009, Wozniacki signed on to become an endorser for the line of tennis apparel designed by Stella McCartney for Adidas. Wozniacki appeared in the 2015 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, following in the footsteps of other number one-ranked singles tennis stars: Steffi Graf (1997), Serena Williams (2004), Venus Williams (2005), Maria Sharapova (2006) and Ana Ivanovic (2010) who have appeared in the issue.

Caroline was in a relationship with Northern Irish professional golfer Rory McIlroy from 2011 until 2014. She announced their engagement on her Twitter page on January 1, 2014. On May 21, 2014, it was announced that McIlroy had ended the engagement: "The problem is mine. The wedding invitations issued at the weekend made me realise that I wasn't ready for all that marriage entails. I wish Caroline all the happiness she deserves and thank her for the great times we've had."

On 14th February 2017, Valentine's Day, Wozniacki revealed on her social media accounts that she was in a relationship with former NBA champion David Lee, later being confirmed by her family. The couple got engaged in November 2017.

Babe of the Month - Gorgeous Ellen Hoog, Dutch International Field Hockey Star and Olympian

Ellen Martijn Hoog was born on 26th March 1986 in Overveen, Netherlands (Overveen is a town in North Holland in the municipality of Bloemendaal). Ellen was a Dutch International field hockey player for over 12 years, earning 232 caps and scoring 60 goals.


She retired from international hockey a year ago, but she is still a playing member of the Amsterdamsche Hockey and Bandy Club. However she now dedicates more time to her interests outside of the sport, including fashion and healthy eating.

Ellen began playing field hockey at the age of seven and in 2002, aged 16 she was selected to play her first senior game the Stichtse Cricket en Hockey Club in Bilthoven.
Ellen made her debut for the Dutch National team in 2004, aged 17, during the Champions Trophy in Rosario, Argentina. The Dutch won gold that year beating Germany in the Final.

Ellen attended the University of Amsterdam and studied Media and Information Management. She studied Commercial Sports Economics at the Johan Cruyff University in Amsterdam.

She became the ambassador of the Hockey Calendar in 2005. She also became an ambassador of Holland Fit and BDO in 2006. Ellen also posed in a bikini with team-mate Eva de Goede for the American sports magazine 'Sports Illustrated' in the Swimsuit Edition in 2013 in Las Vegas.

Among Ellen's many sporting achievements are two Olympic golds (Beijing 2008 and London 2012), one Olympic silver (Rio 2016), two World Cups (2006 in Madrid and 2014 in Amsterdam), three European Championships (2005 in Dublin, 2009 in Amsterdam and 2011 in Mönchengladbach), and two Champions Trophies (2004 in Rosario and 2005 in Canberra).

She was voted the best player in the world for 2014.

In 2012, Hoog became the first player to decide a major championship match with a penalty shootout, taking the winning shot in the 2012 Summer Olympics semi-final against New Zealand.
She repeated this feat in 2016 when she took the winning shot in the 2016 Summer Olympics semi-final against Germany.


Ellen has two pre-game rituals: Firstly, before each match she first puts on my right shin guard and then her left and secondly, before the start of a big tournament and before each final, together with some of her teammates, they watch the movie 'The Notebook.'

Ellen uses almost all social networking sites like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc. She has a large number of national as well as international fans. She is loved by her fans because of her field hockey skills and her beautiful looks.

Babe of the Month - Liv Cooke, World Champion Football Freestyler!

Liv Cooke was born on 20th April 1999 in Leyland, Lancashire and is a British professional football freestyler and the current world champion.

Liv has always been crazy about football, which she says she got from having two older brothers. As a kid she would play street football with them.



At the age of 10, Liv joined Preston North End F.C. whilst also playing in Woodlea Junior School's football team. Cooke went on to study at Balshaw's Church of England High School, where she captained the girls' football team, and signed for the Blackburn Rovers F.C. Centre of Excellence at the age of 14.

One year later, Cooke was sidelined by a recurring back injury and discovered freestyle football videos online. She began to learn the basics in her back garden and stopped playing football in 2015 to focus on freestyle. In 2015, Cooke performed publicly for the first time at St Andrews Infant School in her local town of Leyland, Lancashire. This was quickly followed by her first professional event, where she performed at a Blackburn Rovers half-time show at Ewood Park.

In 2016, at the age of 17, Cooke left Runshaw College early to pursue a career as a 'professional' football freestyler. Since then, Cooke has become the youngest ever professional football freestyler, performing at events across the globe and working with a number of major organisations.

In May 2016, Cooke founded Girl Power FS – the first female football freestyle agency. Having officially launched in June 2016, the company acts as a platform for elite female football freestylers to interact with clients and organise the use of their services for commercials, campaigns, fun days and more.

Liv made her competitive freestyle debut in London in August 2016 at the Red Bull Street Style World Finals, where she placed 6th having been the youngest qualifier.

Later that year, Cooke qualified for the 2016 World Football Freestyle Championships in Melbourne. She finished second, making her the youngest ever finalist. Cooke broke her foot in the final, which ruled her out for several months.

Her work has included performing at Qatar’s national sports day, becoming an ambassador for the UEFA ‘We Play Strong’ initiative designed to get more girls into football, and touring Australia to inspire children to get active. Commercially, Cooke has featured in a Channel 4 TV commercial, a number of Adidas commercials, and a LIDL advert. In addition, she has appeared on a number of TV shows including Match of the Day, Soccer AM, BBC and Fox Soccer News.

As a result of Cooke's work, she has won a number of awards including Parliamentary Rising Star and Woman of the Future.

Following her injury Liv returned to training in April 2017. In August 2017 Cooke qualified for the 2017 Super Ball open football freestyle championships in Prague.
Once there, she won all of her battles to become the 'World Open Football Freestyle Champion.'

Babe of the Month - Russian Beauty Elena Vesnina

Elena Sergeyevna Vesnina was born on 1st August 1986 in Lviv, Ukraine and represents Russia as a professional tennis player.

When Lena was 6 years old, her mother Irina took her daughter to the Sochi tennis school under the guidance of the late Yury Yudkin, who was also Maria Sharapova's first tennis mentor in the early 1990's.

In October 2002, aged 16 years and two months, she gained direct entry into the qualifying draw for her first $10,000 tournament at Giza, Egypt, and succeeded in qualifying for the main draw.

Her career-high rankings are World No. 13 in singles (March 2017) and World No. 3 in doubles (June 2017).

Vesnina is a three-time Grand Slam champion in doubles competition, having won the 2013 French Open and the 2014 US Open tournaments with Ekaterina Makarova, and the 2016 Australian Open mixed doubles title with Bruno Soares.

Representing Russia in the 2007 Fed Cup final against Italy, Elena defeated Mara Santangelo in straight sets. In the 2008 Fed Cup final Ekaterina Makarova made her debut in the doubles match with Vesina winning their doubles match as Russia confidently defeated Spain 4–0.

Vesnina participated in the 2009 ASB Classic in Auckland, New Zealand in January. It was here that she advanced to her first final on the WTA Tour, upsetting the tournament's sixth-seed Nicole Vaidišová in the second round and the second-seed Caroline Wozniacki in the quarter-finals along the way. She then prevailed in a marathon semi-final against British No.1 Anne Keothavong with a score of to set up a meeting with fellow Russian and tournament first-seed Elena Dementieva in the Final.
She started strongly in the match with a 3–1 lead but eventually lost to Dementieva.

In 2009 Elena reached her first Grand Slam final in the doubles at the French Open partnering Victoria Azarenka. The pair were seeded 12th but lost in the final to the 3rd seeds and defending champions Virginia Ruano Pascual and Anabel Medina Garrigues.

In 2010 At the Wimbledon Championships Vesnina made it to her second Grand Slam final in doubles while partnering Vera Zvonareva. The pair scored some impressive wins over the top seeded Williams Sisters in the Quarter finals (which ended the Americans 27 match winning streak in Grand Slam doubles matches) and over 4th seeds Gisela Dulko and Flavia Pennetta in the semifinals. In the final they fell to fellow unseeded pairing Yaroslava Shvedova and Vania King.

In doubles in 2011, Vesnina along with Sania Mirza won the finals of the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, California by defeating Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Meghann Shaughnessy. Then the pair won their second doubles title of the year at the Family Circle Cup in Charleston, South Carolina by defeating Mattek-Sands and Shaughnessy again.

Together with Leander Paes, she reached the 2012 Australian Open and the Wimbledon Mixed Doubles finals.

In 2013 Vesnina won her second WTA tour title at the Aegon International in Eastbourne. En route to the final, she defeated Ana Ivanovic in the first round and Heather Watson in the second. She then went on to beat second seed Li Na in the quarter-finals and Yanina Wickmayer in the semi-finals. In the final, she easily dispatched American Jamie Hampton to win her first grass tour event (above).

In 2015 the pair reached the Wimbledon Doubles final, but lost to longtime-rivals Hingis/Mirza.

At Wimbledon last year, Elena competed in her first Grand Slam Singles semi-final with straight set victories over Tamira Paszek, Andrea Petkovic, and Julia Boserup in the first three rounds before outlasting good friend and doubles partner Makarova in three sets to advance to her first slam quarter-final. She then easily defeated Slovak Dominika Cibulkova to continue her resurgence into the semi-finals where she was was defeated by World No.1 and eventual champion Serena Williams.

At the start of 2016 at the Australian Open, Elena Vesnina and partner Bruno Soares reached the Mixed Doubles final where they defeated Coco Vandeweghe and Horia Tecău, which marked her first mixed doubles Grand Slam title.

In July 2016 Elena and Ekaterina won their first tournament title at the Rogers Cup in Montréal, Canada, and then they went on to win a gold medal at the Summer Olympics in Rio for Russia a few weeks later - this was the very first time that any Russian duo had won an Olympic doubles event.

2017 began well for Vesnina. At Indian Wells in March and seeded 14th, Vesnina defeated Shelby Rogers and Timea Babos to set-up a fourth round meeting with Angelique Kerber, who was guaranteed to return to world no.1 at the end of the tournament. Vesnina beat the US Open champion, before defeating Australian Open runner-up Venus Williams and the in-form Kristina Mladenovic to reach her first Premier Mandatory final. In an all-Russian final against Svetlana Kuznetsova, Vesnina came from a set down to win her 3rd WTA singles title, her first since 2013 and the biggest of her career so far, in just over three hours. With this victory, Vesnina climbed to a career high ranking of 13.

Overall Elena's career stats show: 3 WTA (Women's Tennis Association) Singles wins and a Wimbledon Singles Grand Slam semi-final, 15 WTA Doubles victories, 2 Grand Slam Double titles and an Olympic Doubles Gold Medal, along with a Grand Slam Mixed Doubles title.

To date Elena has won in career prize money alone, somewhere in the region of US$ 8.6 million.

Elena is seeded number 15 in the 2017 Wimbledon Ladies Singles Championships, and number 2 in the Wimbledon Ladies Doubles with Ekaterina Makarova, which begin next week.

Babe of the Month - Golf Beauty Paige Spiranac

Paige Spiranac was born on 26th March 1993 in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, United States. She is an American professional golf player and social media sensation.

Spiranac originally trained as a gymnast, but was forced to stop at the age of 12 after two consecutive knee injuries. Her father recommended golf, saying she had the temperament for it. Once she picked up a golf club, she couldn’t put it down!

After being ranked as the top junior golfer in her home state of Colorado coming out of high school, Paige attended San Diego State University where she graduated with a degree in communications in 2015. Paige first broke out as a potential star player when she appeared in a golf trick shot compilation video she made with her San Diego State University golf teammates................

She worked hard on her game, culminating in her being made Captain of the San Diego University women's golf team, as well as a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee. During her senior year, the discovery of her Instagram account by the media coupled with a viral YouTube video thrust her into the spotlight.

Since then Paige has been traveling the world playing competitive golf as well as collaborating with companies such as Callaway, Descente, Topgolf,, Golf Digest, and TheCHIVE on creative media projects and appearances.

She is passionate about growing the game, to show the world how much fun golf can be, especially amongst young women, and is also involved in promoting an anti-bullying campaign both online and off. She is an official ambassador for The Cybersmile Foundation and often speaks out about her many experiences being bullied throughout her childhood, college, and golf career.

She wakes up at 5:30am every morning to do cardio before hitting the golf course. Then she lifts weights at night. Her intense regimen has paid off.

In June 2016 Paige won her first professional event at Orange Tree Country Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, shooting 71-74-68 and beating Hannah O'Sullivan, the top-ranked amateur in the world, in a playoff, taking a big step toward the Symetra and LPGA tour in the process.

In December 2016, she took part in the 11th Dubai Ladies Masters on the Majlis Course at the Emirates Golf Club. During a press conference before the tournament, Spiranac broke down while talking about her experiences with cyber bullying after her poor performance in the same event the previous year.

Paige has a diverse range of interests beyond the game of golf itself. Foremost among them is going to comic book shops. She describes herself as “a huge comic book nerd.” Her favorites are Batman and Iron Man. She is also a gym bunny and likes trampolining and rock climbing too. Paige also loves discovering new cultures while traveling the world, exploring fashion and hosting her own fun golf clinics. She currenty lives in Phoenix, Arizona.

Currently, she has 1.0 million followers on Instagram and has the fourth largest following of any professional golfer, male or female. She first became an Internet sensation when her college golf team’s trick shots video went viral (see above), amassing more than 1.5 million views on YouTube.

Babe of the Month - From Glamour Model to FA referee!

Amy Christophers was born on 6th October 1986 in Truro, Cornwall, England and is a British TV sports columnist and presenter on Sports Tonight Live, a qualified Football Association Referee and an international model.

She attended stage school and worked as a travel agent and night club assistant manager.

At the age of 18 Amy went from commercial modelling into the world of glamour, under the stage name Brandy Brewer. In 2008 she won Loaded magazine's 'Rear of the Year' - which really shot her to fame with the lad mags.

Amy went on to become a page 3 girl for The Sun newspaper and the Daily Star, and in her ten years in the industry she graced the covers and pages of all the top men's magazines in Great Britain and abroad including FHM, Loaded, Nuts and Zoo to name but a few.

As a teenager Amy was also signed as a solo artist to a German independent label, she then went on to have a number one record for six weeks in the Swedish dance charts with a song called 'Cheaterz' with her band Cashbeatz.

Amy's Cornish roots resulted in her being 'branded' the 'Hottest export since the pasty' by former men's magazine FHM.

But it isn't all about stripping off for the cameras.

In the Summer of 2014, Amy retired from the magazines and dropped her stage name to pursue a career full time in Sports.

Amy always had a huge interest in sports, especially football; she's a huge Chelsea FC fan. She followed her passion for sports and made a career in the sporting industry and started presenting on 'Sports Tonight Live' focusing on football and hosted her own show called '90 MFS' (90 minute football show) and reporting sporting news as lead anchor.

Amy's late Grandad founded Mawnan Football Club, of the Cornwall County Football Association back in the 1960's, and it has been a big part of her life, growing up at the club, so when her grandmother Jean (The President) passed away in February 2015 I applied to be on the committee and carry on the family name.

My part in the club is running their social media and helping organise events such as fundraisers and end of season do and also helping with sponsorship deals.

Miss Christophers is also a Level 7 qualified Referee for the FA, When news got out about this she received international press coverage about her pursuits in the game.

In early 2016 Amy had a spell on Radio at 'The Hub 106 FM' co-hosting her own Saturday Sports show. Then returning to London in summer of 2016 she hosted her own Sports Radio show on YDN called 'Starting 11' along side her TV and radio presenting Amy is also concentrating on writing and is studying journalism, and is due to graduate in July 2017, but  Amy has already had her first published article with the 'Daily Star Sunday' in June 2016 with her guide to the euros, since her first article she has been snapped up by Yahoo Sport for her writing talents and has also written for popular websites such as JOE.CO.UK and the Huffington Post, she recently became the sports columnist for U.K. Men's lifestyle magazine 'Front.'

Amy is currently freelance but working with major media brands including newly formed 'Sport Convo' a new social media network owned by Gareth Bale and Indian cricket hero Virat Kholi. The company headhunted Miss Christophers, stating they knew that she was their girl! She interviews fans, sports stars and films a weekly sports round up. Amy had to learn some Hindi to film certain videos for their Indian cricket audience.

Now, Amy is also a FA qualified football referee, meaning she is allowed to take charge of local matches and youth games.

Although she is still a number of levels away from being a top-tier official, Chelsea fan Amy is desperate to progress – even if the men she’s officiating don’t always know what to make of her.

Amy said: “I think when guys see me walk on to the pitch in my make-up they don’t always think 'Oh she knows what she’s doing’ but they’re always shocked when I know more than them. I absolutely love it and I’m improving with every game. The Premier League would be a dream but I’m just excited to see how far I can get.”

The babe is following in the footsteps of lineswoman Sian Massey-Ellis, an official in the Premier League. Amy said: “Sian is an inspiration to all women thinking about getting involved in the game."

Previously speaking about her love of the beautiful game, Brandy said: "I’ve always loved football and thought becoming a referee would be a great way to get closer to the action."

“There aren’t enough women being represented and it’s fantastic to show that girls can do it just as well. This isn’t just a hobby, it’s a passion. I take this very seriously."

Caitlin Rice was born on 7th November, 1991 in Dallas, Texas, United States. She is a famous fitness model and as a result has has become a huge Social Media Personality. Caitlin constantly moved around America during her childhood; her father served in the army, and was frequently re-stationed in different locations.

Caitlin started in fashion modeling at the age of 16 in Atlanta, Georgia but quit modelling to focus on her college career and attended Southern Methodist University in Texas studying Political Science.
